What is a Vtec controller and how does it work what for
It controls VTEC, duh!Just kidding... a VTEC controller is used to vary the cam changeover point on a VTEC-equipped Honda motor like the D16 or B16.
It's not as useful as a V-AFC, which controls both the VTEC change-over and your fuel trim, and gives you more power and better economy.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

The usual VTEC engagement point is 5500 RPM for most Honda engines. Some have it a little lower, some higher (usually the newer engines).
The controller will give you the option of setting an arbitrary engagement point. Want it to kick in at 4200 RPM? Theoretically it should be possible.
