Sa Meralco Foundation, meron silang vocational course for auto mechanic. Sa Quiapo yata sila.
Same here. Gusto ko rin sana to take-up some hands-on training especially sa suspension and engine. Very useful because at least, even if you can't fix it, you'll have an idea of the problem.

punta kayo sa website ng tesda. yu can see their schedule of courses including yung kailangan nyo
Get a CHILTON manual. Its an excelent book, it tells you step by step's from basic to advance about engine. Its an expensive book but it worth every penny you spend.
Here it is.

sir kindly check the following for your reference:
Meralco Foundation - www.mfi.org.ph
Guzman College (formerly Guzman Institute of Technology) - http://www.guzmancollege.edu.ph
Samson Tech - http://www.samson.edu.ph/
gusto ko nga rin mag-aral kasi bopols ako pagdating sa sasakyan eh... good luck sayo sana matuloy ka kasi ako puro plano lang...
In your situation I would first suggest you acquire a shop manual of your vehicle. Read it and see if you can follow kung hindi then enroll then ask the the topics you have a hard time understanding. Engine is a matter of timing, clearances, advance, delayed, resistance and voltages.
MFI Ortigas has short course for auto mechanic. I took my vocational course there. You may inquire at this # (632)634-2970 or try to view their website www.mfi.org.ph
I am visitng the philippines (manila / iloilo) and looking for a short training (2 - 3 days) on auto repair (brakes, tune-up, a/c, diagnoctics, front end, etc) between May 29 - June 8, 2009. If you know any school that can customize their training for me or any certified auto mechanic that is willing to teach me I would appreciate it. I would like to know the training fees as well.
thanks

sa kwento sa akin ng isang mekaniko nagaral sa guzman tech dito magaral ng auto mechanic dikdikan daw pagaaral.
I would recommend enrolling to Samson College of Science & Technology. They have branches in Edsa, Cubao and at Legarda, Quiapo. I think this summer, they offer short courses in automotive mechanics. Check it out!
I would like to recommend MFI formerly Meralco Foundation.
Although ang pinag-aralan ko po dun is Computer Programming
and PC troubleshooting I think Ok din dun ang automechanic courses.
And yun food sa canteen nila laging masarap tapos mura pa.
May pre-requisite sila na course. Yung Basic Car Maintenance. Before mo makuha yung ibang course like Diesel mechanic, auto transmission etc.
Pag nagkaroon ako ng time mag-enroll din ako. Google nyo lang MFI.![]()
interested din ako mag enroll dito sa MFI, kaso lang, as of now, according sa website nila, wala pa yatang sked ng basic auto maintenancesana meron ding weekend na sked, as earlier suggested here
