Pacer and W&L carry fleetguards. Both companies have been caught (by posters in this forum) knowingly or unknowingly to be selling or carrying some counterfeit models of the said brand.

Caveat Emptor. Carefully inspect what you buy from them.

Too late in reading this thread. I changed my oil yesterday using Vic C-145 instead of my usual Honda OEM filter for FB. Tinamad lang ako sumadya kahapon sa Honda para bumili ng filter.

I showed the Vic C-806 which I bought from the same store and asked then to give me a bigger size thus the C-145, sabi pa nga nya "eto, pang Nissan".

Fit naman at wala pang tulo as of this morning. Altho now I have apprehensions after reading this thread.

That's fine. Just use it for 5K then go for your next service stop.

We use VIC oil filters and VIC fuel filter element on our 2008 hilux. So far, so good naman. I've been changing the oil filter every 5,000 kilometers and the fuel filter element every month more or less around 1,000-1,200 kilometers. Hindi ko pa nasubukan gumamit ng ibang filter other than VIC, if ever what brand can you guys suggest? Salamat po!
