yes dapat ma pa scan mo yan. pay particular attention sa fuel trims (both long term and short term), check mo rin O2 sensors activities (pre-cat and after catakytic converter). eto ang mga ilan sa dahilan ng excessive fuel consumptions, ect reading cold, sluggish O2 sensors (they are considered maintenance items too), dirty MAF (under reporting the air going to the intake), dirty air filter, clogged catalytic converter, spark plugs, etc.
however depending on manufacturing year, bihira lang shop may capabilities mag scan ng lynx because the diagnostic connector is not a 16-pin dlc (j1962)

You're saying that the problem started right after Ondoy. Was the PCM replaced during that repair or sometime much later? Because you're implying now that the excessive fuel consumption started just about two months ago lang.
If the condition began after the repair, (and presumably a PCM swap by the shop?), from being flooded, it means you were consuming a lot of gas ever since. Baka may DTCs nuon pa na di na nagawang basahin at kumpunihin.
As a side, the "patch lining" referred to may actually be your "clutch lining".

try replacing your 02 sensors. that thing near the exhaust plays a big role in fuel consumption. mura lang yan brod. then, clean the MAF sensors with carb cleaners. yan lang muna. if it wont work, change the plugs. if possible, use OEM.
Choice I would have made as well.
