stock air filter vs. simota or K&N

need ba talaga tanggalin air box. may nakita kasi ako meron stock airbox pa then nakasuksuk dun tube,
sabi ng kilala kong mekaniko mas maganda
daw kung wag alisin airbox para mas maganda daw performance kesa nakarekta yun tube.

totoo ba na maingay kapag naka simota kesa sa stock air intake?

Mga paps, may charger kit din ang Simota. Same sa K&N. SM Southmall Concorde meron nito. cleaning kit and oil for the air filter.

Madalas kong mabili is tung color red. Yung blue naman pag bumili ka ng simota air filter package, includes filter, tube and brackets.

May fake ba na simota?

Maraming naggagawa ng filter sa China. May red, may blue, may kulay brown. Madali lang i-stamp ang Simota o K&N logo.

Depends on the dealer; if it damages anything (i.e. the MAF sensor) then maybe they may void the warranty for that particular part. What i do is before going for service at the CASA, i used to remove the drop-in filter than i install the original filter. Lately i just keep the K&N in and they don't bother on it either.
