stock air filter vs. simota or K&N

Kung wala ka pambili ng K&N, don't bother buying an aftermarket air-filter.

Simota SUCKS.

hi, i plan to change my stock air filter with simota and my setup with my civic still stock.

do i still need a new headers for this? or changing simota air filters will be fine?

Sir, the problem is with the fake Simota filters and intake systems that are sold in almost every car parts and car accessories shop for almost 1/4 the price of K&N filters and intake systems here in the Philippines.

Thinking of getting a drop-in K&n air filter for my car.

but the "maf contamination" issues i always read bothers me,
mostly kasi puro "sabi nila" ang statement, even in international forums.

Ang gusto ko sana malaman ngayon, is anyone in the tsikot community
had engine problems after installing oiled filters, and proven that the cause of the problem
is that the maf sensor of their car was contaminated by the oil from the filter?

first hand experience would be really appreciated.

and those who are running their k&n filter for many years,
especially those who are using them 5years and above continuously,
kamusta naman engines nyo?
