lately napapansin kong hindi na pino ung tunog ng engine. usually i'd hear whhrrrrrrrrr from the engine di ba? lately it sounds more like whrrr-rr-rr-rr-rr-rr , as if it's stalling for very short periods of time. nararamdaman ko kasi na parang hindi pino ang acceleration.
i read somewhere that the distributor car could be the cuplrit. eto ang nakita ko pagbukas ng cap:

pwede pa kayang pagtiyagaan ito? if no, ok lang ba kung replacement? what brand? how much?

yup. replace the cap. saka check mo na rin yng rotor, palitan mo na rin kng may crack or chip yun. dun sa picture mo dapat hindi magkaroon ng dumi sa loob ng distributor cap.
