    peeps, i keep hearing this squeal whenever i'm driving. it tends to get worse when the aircon is on. iingay siya ng 2-5 minutes, then bigla na lang mawawala, then babalik uli.

    where should i start checking? slipping belt kaya?

    kung na-isolate mo na sa A/C nanggagaling;
    it's either the belt, the a/c bearing or the magnetic clutch.

    Also check the idler bearing for the aircon belt.

    i would change bearings sa idler pulleys and fan belts. but of course try consulting your electrician first. they can tell if its just a fan belt na maluwag or kung mga bearing na palitin na ang diprensya.

    para malaman mo kung belt ang nagsquake or bearing,paandarin mo ang makina at idle lang at kung naririnig mo ang ingay (a/c on or off) lagyan mo ng kahit isang kutsarang tubig ang belt,kung mawawala ang ingay ay belt ang problema pero kung hindi parin, pinaka posibling cause ay bearing.or posibli ring intake vacume leak.isolate mong mabuti.

    I think the idea is the water will lubricate the belt and stop the squeal. Just dont use too much water as it can also make the belt squeal.

    Dont use oil it will destroy your belt.

    You can also use your thumb to push down on the belt with engine off! It should have a little play. About 1/4 inch. Anymore and you have a loose belt.
