if only jamescameron can post pictures of the parts he purchased at speedyfix and parts at the local auto supply, then maniniwala ako na taga nga. malaki talaga price difference sa OEM, OEM Replacement na Japan, OEM Replacement na Taiwan/China. I doubt if it's apple to apple comparison.
pero yun nga, the mark-up price is the price you are paying for convenience. siguro kung tiga anak-pawis ka di mo yan matatanggap.

true. but I've seen speedfix in other forums like tsikot reply to every customer comment, regardless if it's positive or negative. i can only speculate that he's so busy right now that he hasn't seen this thread.
does anyone here personally know speedyfix and advice him to address the comments/complaints of TS?

yes i know. but for this particular thread/issue not yet. kaya nga nagtataka ako bakit hanggang ngayon wala pa rin sya reply sa mga comments ni TS.

Dapat gaya nila intsik, liit tubo dami customer kaya laki kita. Hindi yung sagad tubo layas customer, sara negsyo.

November 29th, 2012 03:16 PM #79Honestly I don't see the problem the TS here has aside from the prices being more than those c-rated shops/talyers in places like banawe or evangelista. If you can't afford sourcing parts from the shop itself then get a list of what needs to be replaced and get off your lazy ass and buy them yourself then have the shop install them to save you some cash. That's what I do unless the part in question is exclusive to the shop.
We should ask ourselves here, did speedyfix do a bad job or was the job good and no back jobs needed? All I see is complaints about the price. Can't afford it, go somewhere else. I've had my vitara done by speedyfix many times and not once did I return for a back job. My car was one of the ugliest, oldest, and cheapest in a shop filled with benz's, bmws, and the like, but they still gave me the same good service they give to their customers with deeper pockets. It's not cheap compared to c-rated shops but at least the prices aren't as outrageous as the casa. The service isn't garbage like what we hear from shops like Rapide and the like who charge a premium and don't do a good job. So honestly, I don't see a problem here.
Hell, I had my car engine overhauled by a total gas station mechanic which cost just P3000 labor and parts, but found out the job was botched and I had to get it to a different shop with a specialist to redo for P8000. You get what you pay for.
