No biggie. As yapoy said pa change oil mo muna and make sure na tama yung nilagay na oil for diesel engines. In the off chance na manipis na flushing oil or gasoline engine oil ang ginamit nung last oil change.

If malakas pa rin oil consumption saka mo na patingnan. If kelangan talaga overhaul decide if it is worth it or ibenta na lang bago lumakas yung usok.

Contrary to most common assumption, the combustion chambers cannot be 100% leak free. The Pistons will have oil clearance, the Piston rings will have end gaps. There will always be blowby gases you like it or not. But there are standards as to how much blowby gases exist. As long as blowby gases are not excessive, it is expected.

"not excessive" is difficult to qualify and/or quantify.
i guess this is the reason why we have varying opinions above.

From that webpage, the range is between 1 to 4 inches of water column or 0.144 pounds force per square inch.
That's very specific as to the maximum allowable crankcase pressure.

Which only a compression test woould objectively yield.

I think doc meant that personal observation may be too subjective in order to quantify or qualify.

With a cylinder compression test, the crankcase pressure would even be lower contradicting your argument.

Maybe better to clear any doubt a d not resort to guesswork, you can do cylinder leakage test. This test already compensated for pressure leakage dute to the piston ring end gaps and piston to bore oil clearance.

The compression test would be inconclusive.

At least we are in agreement that a test is need just to be sure, because the smoke coming from the dipstick of an Toyota 2KD-FTV engine is definitely not normal.
