after few weeks of using RP in my car. I noticed an improvement in gas milage, about .5 km per liter. I never reached 9Km/L of city driving with my previous oil. I filled up 35 liters or gas and I consumed 329 kms = 9.4 Kms/L, this is the best that I can get since my motul htec. I never reached this far using my previous oil.

I will still monitor my gas consumption since I filled a full tank everytime I go to gas station.

I'm currently happy with RP.... I put RP sticker in my car too!

17M, sure no problem! we can provide the gasket also but if you can get it please feel free to bring it din if you like. for the starex the RP 15w40 will be perfect. i don't suggest going much longer than 6-7k kms on a diesel engine even with full syn oil though.

for the trooper though, you need a 10w30 weight oil as per the manual

mazdamazda, i agree... the additive package in the oil is really what determines the resistance to braking down sa oil, also how it reacts againt extreme heat, etc.

wrcastro_ph, wohoo! i'm very happy you're having all positive results with the oil! ;D

Noong first 10000 km, gamit ko casa oil ng Ford, after that up to now change to Mobil 1 fully synthetic, pero sa totoo lang, wala akong napapansin na nakakaiba sa performance o sa tipid sa gasolina sa Royal purple may improvement kaya?

nice, its good to see positive response (from you folks back in the PI) on how really good Royal Purple is.

anywayz, I also use Royal Purple on a few customer cars and same w/ our Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T Land Speed Racecar. and all I can say is that Royal Purple is one of the best.

IMHO though, I really prefer Redline Oil & Royal Purple Synthetic Oils over Motul.

    aite, peace.

^^^I think that has been answered and yes no need for flushing unless talagang meron ng sludge sa engine mo....

After around 300 kms on RP 10w30, it looks like my FC improved by 10%. Previously used Havoline Energy 5w30. FC per car computer is 14.4L/100kms. With RP, its at 13L/100Kms. Same route, mostly SLEX and Startoll.

I know its still too early to tell if this will continue or not. But so far it looks very promising. :goodluck:

Speedy, ok lang na walang freebie. If this keeps up, RP would pay for itself after 5,000 kms. So free oil change. :massbounce:

Djerms, allright bro! pero please remind me to give it or ask sa secretary... minsan nakakalimutan dahil madami ginagawa

    shadow, haha oo nga eh

    conzky, yes it is.

chain, simplicity sorry mga bro! my regular secretary is on leave kasi now kaya the new one is kinda panicked all the time. minsan di nya nabibigay unless may humihingi. hehehe! so sorry! just swing by if you're in the area and papabigay ko. sensya na

Zeus, that's way too thick... try a 30 or 40 weight oil and you will definitely see a improvement.

userfriendly, wow i'm super pleased with the results!! keep us updated ok... i'd be interested in seeing if the fuel consumption is maintained throughout the oils life seeya soon!
