lowrev, if you're running a 7k under the hood, medyo limited lang ang options mo. gaya ng nabanggit, i/h/e ang minimum na pwede mong gawin. next would be headworks.

sa engine swaps naman, the 4A-G series engine will fit. another engine that I THINK will fit is the 3RZ-FE. galing sa prado yun 2.7L inline4 (same engine family as 2.0L gas ng revo natin). the ultimate engine swap na nakita ko was done by a friend of mine...a lexus LS400 engine.

Pare, what do you want to achieve? Just to make it a bit faster? I/H/E would be your way to go. Take note though lalakas pa sa gas yan. I mean, for something that's built as a people hauler it's not a good idea to be a gas guzzler.

Or do you want something that's really fast? I'd trade it in for a sedan.

Engines offered in the Hi-Lux pick up range will fit the REVO.

Actually, naka intake na yung revo. Naka set-up na rin po. Siguro i'll go for the headers and exhaust. any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Do i see a new breed of kick-ass AUV's? :D

Aside from I/H/E, there's not much that can be done in a cost-efficient way unless you go for an engine swap IMO.

Try checking out the headers at Freemuff. Maybe lightening the flywheel and some head works will also help out.

I talked with my brother and he suggested not to change the engine. So I guess I'll just go for other mods. San po ba makakabili ng rear disc brake for the revo? Thanks.

    rear disc brakes?

haven't heard of anyone doing that yet since AFAIK that option is not available in any country.

using disc brakes from a non-revo vehicle might pose some problems.

You will have to switch diffs that has rear disc options. Retro fitting is not recommended.

Rear discs won't be much of a mod for the REvo unless you plan to do some track days or hot driving out on the mountains.

What would be more adviseable in the brakes dept. is to change the front pads to better ones like Bendix Metal Kings... cheap but effective.

On the suspension, try to see if there are KYB Gas-A-Just shocks available for the Revo. That'll give a firmer ride.
