The temperature drops whenever I turn on the AC. from normal temps (about midline) it drops to about a little above C or about 1/4.. When I turn the AC off, the temp goes back to normal. I dont know if the problem is in the sensor for the temp gauge or if its a bad thermostat/valve or something. I recently cleaned my radiator and flush out the coolant but it did not solve the problem. anyone? thanks.

tama po na as long as hindi overheating no need to worry...plus, as long as hindi rin overcooling....
pero what i have in mind is: the thermo switch could be of low resistance. it now requires a lower temperature before the bimetallic strip inside the switch will open as compared before...try replacing the switch.

March 10th, 2011 06:59 PM #7i'm not sure about it not overcooling because it sometimes reaches the C mark and that's what's worrying me. i might be running on cold conditions making the ecu think the engine is not yet warm and stuff.
