Park or neutral when cold starting an automatic?

hmmm...

Why is it in the morning (and the engine is cold), the car idles up when in park?

Should I wait for the idle to go to normal? or pwede na ba ako mag D right after starting even if malamig pa yung makina?

Its always advisable by the car designers/manufacturers to have your cold engine run idle until the temperature gauge hits the C line, pag from cold start below the C line kasi siya... so wait until the gauge rise up to that C-line level.

I believe that between on Park, or Neutral, its the same...
