    News:
Advics has launched a lower standard brake pads that they are outsourcing probably from China or Thailand not from any Advics or Aisin company. But they are completely outsourcing outside for Advics Brake Star which has a yellow color packaging it is meant for the lower market since it is cheaper than Bendix by almost half, the problem is that the brake pads eats through rotors faster than any other brands.

Aisin now has shifted all their aftermarket products by outsourcing from different companies in China especially their water pumps, brake master assembly, brake booster assembly, clutch master assembly, wheel cylinder and etc...

Aisin oil filters that they recently launched are outsourced from a cheap manufacturer in China and etc...

Aisin engine oil and other lubricants are being made and packed with Aisin sticker labels from S. Korea.

Aisin coolants are being outsourced from a Japanese manufacturer in Japan.

Aisin is now planning to also launch steering suspensions same with Sankei 555 but they are just outsourcing the products from Taiwan.

Overall the Aisin-Advics aftermarket has completely change their quality for all their auto parts and is NO LONGER OEM QUALITY.

Aisin is now the same as the Federal Mogul brand which focuses its aftermarket products by just buying from different factories abroad, repacking in their brand and selling them at a very low price.

Sadly you can no longer find an Aisin-Advics OEM quality product, as they have been outsourcing most of their products from different companies in different countries especially for the metal parts.

    Another News:

Kayaba or in short KYB has launched new product lines of steering suspension which is not OEM quality due to the fact that Kayaba/KYB since the beginning had never manufactured steering suspension parts like tie rod end, ball joint, rack end, stabilizer link, control arm, side rod, shaft kit & etc...

Kayaba/KYB is just outsourcing/buying this parts from Taiwan and the Taiwan company is the one printing KYB brand on the product and repacking it into the packaging specified by Kayaba/KYB. It is different from the quality that is being sold by car dealers.

Kayaba/KYB coil spring and shock absorber bushings are also not produced by Kayaba/KYB, these items are also being bought by Kayaba/KYB from different companies in other countries.

This is the photo of the outsourced Kayaba branded steering suspension products which are not the same as O.E. quality. But I'm not sure how durable Kayaba is vs. Sankei-555 steering suspension products, as their are no actual testing yet.

This is the Aisin steering suspension that is going to compete with Sankei-555.

Most car parts naman na is outsourced - mostly in China. So wala nang bago jan.
Quality Control na lang ang pinag uusapan natin kasi specs naman is provided by the client to be followed by the factory. Client does the QC.

A friend works as a manager sa isang factory sa China. Their client is mostly European auto manufacturer. They make circuit boards for them according to their client specs.

The difference bet foreign company and chinese company?
    Chinese: Pwede na yan!
    Others: Hindi pwedeng pwede na.

But dont you worry, the trade war and the Chinese mishandling of COVID (plus bullying) is about to result in decoupling of China and the rest of the world.
Japan formally started it with incentives for Japanese company to relocate.

From the start, putting almost all manufacturing activities in one country is never sustainable and results in weakening of the supply chain.

MK Kashiyama gamit namin sa 2012 Montero, both front & rear, since Sep 2019. Tahimik, smooth, at mukhang rotor disk friendly naman.

Mid-low end lng na brake pads ang MK Kashiyama made in Indonesia, aftermarket replacement lang yan. Kapresyo lng niya yung chipipay na Advics yellow box na brake pads.

Iba yung sinusupply nila sa Japan domestic market sa Southeast Asia. Mas strict kasi requirements sa Japan versus 3rd world countries.

Not majority of the car parts are outsourced in China, Denso and NGK spark plugs are still efficiently mass produce in Japan kaya up to now you can see that Denso and NGK still indicates Made in Japan sa package nila since they are big companies they can afford fully automated robotics manufacturing. Only mga expanded lines sa aftermarket replacements ng Aisin-Advics ang inoutsource sa China, while KYB outsourced its steering suspension parts from Taiwan. Then Akebono brake pads are manufactured in their Yamagata plant Japan, Sankei-555 are still produced in Japan. Mapapansin mo sa trade war na US is SUPPLYING the highly sophisticated CHIPS to China in order to assemble the finished product it means China lacks the capability to produce those important parts to highly advance components. While the trade war of Japan and South Korea also is the same, South Korea is facing economical woes because Japan has banned the shipment of high technology products such as chemicals that South Korea needs in order to produce their electronic products.

South Korea is home to Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, companies that together produce two-thirds of the world's memory chips. In Japan, 3 companies (JSR Corporation, Showa Denko, and Shin-Etsu Chemical) as well as Kanto Denka Kogyo, produce 90% of the world's Fluorinated polyimide and Photoresist, both of which are used for LCD and OLED displays, and 70% of Hydrogen Fluoride, used to make LSI, DRAM and NAND flash memory. South Korea imports 94% of Fluorinated polyimide, 92% of Photoresists, and 44% of Hydrogen Fluoride from Japan, according to data from Korea International Trade Association. On the other hand, Japan had export dependency on South Korea for these three materials at 22.5%, 11.6%, and 85.9%, respectively.

Now South Korea's industry is in bad shape because of their trade war with Japan.

Also you know why Korean cars have become better over the years? It is because of mainly Japanese and American help that developed Korea's automotive industry.

Denso is still the biggest electronics O.E. supplier to Hyundai, Kia & etc...
Their brake pads are made by Saeron Automotive which is owned by Nisshinbo Brakes Japan and Sangsin on the otherhand had technical cooperation with TBK Japan and Hitachi Chemical.
Bando is the one supplying South Korean cars with drive belts. So on and so forth.

OEM counterpart? (Iwas rebadge at repack sa casa)
