April 10th, 2009 10:07 AM #11actually there should be no difference in how the engine runs when you replace the timing belt. if it got smoother it was because mali sya dati and tama na sya now, or some other reason.
also, ignition timing will not move. if you see the mechanic move the distributor to compensate for wrong timing that means the belt is off by a tooth.
