    Good day!

    TIA! God bless

imho... engine swap, kailagan mo ba ng more powerful?
overhaul.... kailangan mo na ba talaga mag pa overhaul? may loss of power na?

kung wala pa naman.... tago mo muna pera mo for future repair.

If i were you, since you are willing to spend 40k-50k, i would spend it on a tune up or overhaul, and fix small problems such as rattling sounds, broken power windows, suspension bushings, skipping wiper blades, dirty headlights, etc.

There is nothin more satisfying than driving a car without any problems and rattling sounds.

is the car showing signs that it is in need of overhaul? remember that this is an old car, and it would not be fair of you to demand that it function as responsively as the more modern cars 20 years younger.. it can't do that even if it were fresh off the factory.. perhaps it is not in need of overhaul at all..
yes, maybe a tune up muna.. maybe some fixin' up of the passenger comforts..
btw, the ability to stop is even more important than the ability to go..
    be sensible.

Tune-up nyo muna sir para good condition. Repair-repair muna, lalo na body parts both exterior and interior. Then use it until the last breath ng makina, sulitin nyo. Then change engine na.

Sell your current car, add the 40-50K, and buy a newer 2nd hand Corolla or any other car of your choice.

i suggest spend on repairs or overhaul if needed. mas may assurance ka sa newly overhauled engine (provided it is done right) kesa sa surplus engine that you are unsure when it'll conk-out on you... and if that happens, you're back in square one imho.

In need of experts advice :)
