    ok pero pag trade in wag mo sama yun mga parts na imporatante like starter, alternator, compressor & injection pump medyo mahal din kasi yan pag binili mo na.

    do a cost analysis...
    how much would you be spending if you had your engine Oh'ed where you can be sure that all of its components are new

    versus...

    a surplus engine where you will not know its condition and may conk out after a year or so.

    I agree here. I'm in the same situation with a Camry i'm working on now. It overheated and there's a possibility the cylinder head warped. Toyota of course will charge 300K+ for the job when it was assessed at Toyota Shaw Pasig (new engine or new engine block); Options are to either have the cylinder head done at a machine shop and do a top overhaul (new gaskets) or look for a surplus block (which is pretty hard to come by for a Toyota 2.4L engine) then recondition the engine on top of it.

    Helo.update lng po sa sasakyan ko.hindi ko na pahabain ang kwento basta nailabas ko lang kanina sa shop at ok na siya.ito ang inabot sa gastos,
    :surplus cylinder head assembly(di na kasi pwede na mareface daw sa machine shop kc ang laki nang benkong at may mga bitak na daw)=16,000
    Cylinder head gasket=975
    Timing belt=700
    Shaft oil seal=80
    4pcs surplus nozzle(injection pump)=2000
    Change oil=1260
    Labor=2,500
    TOTAL=23,515
    Salamat sa pagbasa.God Bless

    *thesheperd-nagkataon my pinsan po ako my negosyo dito sa amin autosupply,surplus shop dati direct importer pa ciya sa japan mga surplus parts at saka may sarili na rin ciyang talyer kasi may transport services din ciya(7 fx taxi at 4 na bus pamprobinsia).kaya yun walang iba sa amin kaya malaki discount ciguro hehe.
