Well all you need is a microswitch which are cheap. You would have to have it mounted to your gas pedal to activate a solenoid valve by completing a ground circuit.
They look like this,

February 7th, 2013 12:32 PM #93sorry for my ignorance, what will be the consequence if the sol.valve is activated manually (by gas pedal) compare to auto activated (by electronically). TIA

Either way does one thing, It completes a circut on a NC (normally closed switch) and opens it. I prefer only electronically because it would take a adjustable mount to do the microswitch correctly.

February 8th, 2013 08:03 AM #95referring to the photo above, can we use our spare lpg tank which is suppose to be for cooking and its spare hose? so we only need to look for is the pressure regulator and the sol. valve
again for non turbo diesel engine where exactly in intake suppose to connect the other end of this mod/kit (just so curious)
will you explain in simple terms how exactly this mod works?
TIA

I use a standard LPG tank, the same kind I use for cooking in the Philippines. It's a 11kg tank. You can use a standard cooking regulator they make about 0.5psi of pressure with is perfect for a N/A diesel.
You will need a solenoid valve to control when it is on and off. It should be only used at around 1500rpm and above.
This is a solenoid valve you can use any valve you like as long as it's rated for gas. You will need some fittings to connect the hose on as well, With the N/A kit you don't need a adjustable regulator .5psi is just enough to give you a nice bump in power and fuel economy.
Your hose will go right after your air filter.

I have been doing these systems for about 18 years, Never had a problem, You use the right hose, set it up right, right regulator, activation source and you will never have a issue. I know one member on here that runs it. goes by Dust. You might want to shoot him a PM. He has had it for years along with the methanol injection on his N/A diesel.
Unless someone shoots a surface to surface missile at your car you don't have to worry about the tank, It that got ruptured in a normal car accident you probably all ready be dead. Just make sure you mount it because it can not tip over when in use because you could inject liquid vs vapor. I have had mine on there for 2 years, Can't live without it the power kick is just to much and my fuel economy is insane.Last edited by dvldoc; February 8th, 2013 at 10:54 PM.

Around 14.5kpl highway even fully loaded. and around 12kpl city, but it could be better if I did not push it so hard, I like to burn out and do fast launches in the van lol.
