Sa mga cars with intercooler, the colder the air going into the engine is much better.

do you think a mist spray is still worth it on a regular hot driving applications? or even atleast benificial only on long distances and long steep uphills?
try doing a search for "devils own" They have what you are looking for. Their kits are available from Speedlab and a few tsikoteers have installed the kits on their rides. So far they seem to be happy.
They had a demo recently, grabe ang lakas ng fortuner sa dyno.
that's a mist spray inside the intake chamber.
am I right 4JG?
how about practical use? like hot traffic days or long steep uphill? worth kaya spending for a used 50-80psi elec fuelpump and a agricultural nozzle? later na yung pressure switch. wala kasi dito eh...

I don't know how many psi the EVO and STI use but if you have a gas engine with turbo and intercooler it couldn't hurt to lower the temps of the intake. I know there are also versions that use nitrous or CO2 that are sprayed externally at the intercooler to lower the temperature of the intake.
me nakita kong engine na me "intercooler at the back of the engine(in between firewall and the engine). guess what it is using in cooling the intercooler. liquid. with separate reservoir, pump and subradiator.
That's a water to air intercooler as opposed to a air to air intercooler which requires cool air to pass through the fins of the intercooler to cool the intake pressurized air passing through. I see those used in drag racing with superchargers or turbo, they fill the container with ice and water.
