Hmmm... but it's still a Volks/Audi engine...

which means tuner chip upgrades will be VERY plentiful. BTW, is it cheaper than a 2.0 TFSI Volks? I'm pretty sure the 2.0 TFSI Audi A3 is much more expensive.

I saw two rally spec Seat Ibiza here in libis a few years ago being driven in our streets by two spanish guys. I think it was used in a rally somewhere in luzon.

since it's a turbocharged 2-liter, i might as well mention the VW Golf GTi having the same engine displacement, turbocharged, 200hp and still has room for computer tuning enhancements.

It's the exact same engine as the Seat Leon's... in different tune. Volkswagen-group cars often share the same engine and chassis options. That engine is also in the new Audi A3.
