I have a friend who is planning to change his intake. Sabi daw sa kanya pag EFI ang engine wala daw gamit ang aftermarket intake mods. Is this true?

On any car a good free flow filter & removal of the stock airbox will usually have an improvement in efficiency.
There are exceptions tho' particularly the 2001 up cars.

Sir, can you kindly elaborate on these "exceptions" you are referring to.

I've got the same Lancer, already with the IHE mods... made a big difference. Tell your friend to go for it, he won't regret it.
