I bought a new fuel filter for my 97 Accord, although replacement lang (original is P1,550).
But the thing is yung mechanics from 2 Shell stations (Commonwealth & Pook Ligaya) declined to install it. Yung isa, hindi kaya, hindi pa raw sila nakakapagpalit ng fuel filter, yung sa Pook Ligaya naman, mejo tinatamad, andami daw babaklasin (brake master, etc), before they can change it, 2 hours daw, eh, I can't wait that long, kasi may lakad pa ako that day.
Ganun ba kahirap palitan yung fuel filter ng Accord?? Aside from casa, may talyer ba kayong mare-recommend na near QC area? Kung wala, I guess I'm off to Speedyfix kahit malayo. Any Accord owners (Gen 5) out there?

December 28th, 2006 10:22 PM #4it's not as easy as say a civic but it shouldn't be too complicated for a mechanic with decent skills.

mahirap talaga tanggalin ang fuel filter ng accord. sobrang alanganin ng location nya. it needs to be lifted pa just to reach it.
