Seriously though, unlike the internal combustion engine, drilling rigs don't employ filters. The concept is not new... before, they use PTFE. If you guys still remember the old Motor-Up commercial from around the mid-90's I think? Well, I got suckered then into buying a bottle for our ex-car (92 Sentra). A few months later, we read somewhere that PTFE will eventually be caught by the oil filter, clogging it up. I would imagine that this "new technology" probably would also suffer the same fate.
