It's because of the gear range, Lite-Ace models came out with taller gear for great acceleration but loses out on top speed.

Our local drag race scene, runs on declared 10 sec. time limit. No one has ever gotten below that time except maybe for some illegal dragsters.

....i believe those 10 sec cars can do better considering we really dont have those high standard dragstrips.

Yes they can, but for competition's sake, they cannot use their last ace until the right time comes. So far there are only 3 vehicles in their own category.
