Honda City 04 A/T namamatay engine

Mga Sirs,
Patulong naman. Ride is 2004 Honda City idsi A/T. Minsan sa slow moving traffic nag-stall ang engine. Pag instart, ok naman ulit. Naka bukas aircon. New changed-oil, at palit ng valve cover gasket. Na modify na ang air intake eversince nakuha namin. Ano kaya possible issue?

Same issue with my I-dsi. Try mo palinis ung trottle baka madumi lang. however, pag mejo minalas malas ka, you need to replace the "servo". Yung sa akin pag bukas aircon may rattle pag arangkada. Ganito din ba nararamdaman mo?

Sir, try ko pa linis yung throttle body as advised.. May konti nginig pag nag-aircon. FYI, wala naman check engine sign..

Have any of you looked at your spark plugs or ignition coil packs yet? I'd bet your problem lies there. If a cleaned-out throttle body doesn't fix things try looking at your ignition system.

Take note, the L13A3 i-DSI motor has eight spark plugs and ignition coil packs, not four.

Naalala ko tuloy nung first time ko magpapa tune up. Angas ko pa kc pinili ko ung 4 tip na spark plugs na mejo kamahalan. Anak ng tokwa, pagdating nung bill nagulat ako dahil 8 pala spark plug nung makina ko. Lucky for me at may malapit na ATM kundi, nakakahiya na wala ako dala pambayad sa shop.

Back on the topic, pag spark plug problema, mararamdaman mo un habang tumatakbo. Bumababa bigla ung RPM but not to the point na titigil makina.

P.S. Naramdaman ko ung mga senyales na ganyan bago bumigay ung tranny ko. Better prepare for the worse. Kung ako sayo, mag-tabi ka na nga mga about 25K para sa hindi inaasahang palit tranny. Save also the contact informations ng mga towing companies na malapit sa lugar nyo dahil anytime pwede ka ibitin nyan.
