Help! What are things to do for a car that will not be used for a long time..,

Good day mga sir! I am about to stuck my vios for about a year more in the garage.., what are the things I should do to ensure that it would be preserved and be as good as it is now by the time I'm going to hit the road again..,

Good day mga sir! I am about to stuck my vios for about a year more in the garage.., what are the things I should do to ensure that it would be preserved and be as good as it is now by the time I'm going to hit the road again..,

This had been discussed before. Anyhow, is their a relative, friend or neighbor who can start and drive the car at least twice a month just to keep it going?

If not, then, change all fluids prior to storage. Make sure everything is working fine, no leaks etc.

Then prepare outside and inside by having a good car wash and wax.

Jack up the car on all fours,

Unplug the connectors of the battery.

Last, put on the car cover.
