    Hello mga experts. I am posting this for my friend. Dinala nya sa isang servitek yung Ford lynx nya (2000 model) para ipaayos yung mga oil leaks sa makina. Tinanggal yung top cover then kinalas din daw yung twin cam seals at pati yata yung timing belt kung saan nakakabit yata yun. Ang problem, nung maibalik na lahat, ayaw na mag start. Doon na po nag new year ang car nya sa talyer until now di pa din mapa start.

    Help naman po , input nyo lang po kung ano kaya nangyari kc in very smooth running po ang makina nung dalhin doon. Mga gasket at seals lang pinapaayos kaya dismayado sya dahil mukhang may hindi sila naibalik ng ayos or what???

    Note: Rumiridondo lang po yung oto pero di tumuloy sa pag andar. May gas naman daw po sabi gn friend ko, half-full tank

    Check that the wiring to the coil packs and the cam position sensor are okay. If they are, it might be that the timing marks on the cams are off... the Lynx's engine will still turn over if the cams are positioned incorrectly (non-interference engine... the valves won't hit the pistons) but it won't start if there's an error in the cam position sensor signal.

    check for spark , fuel pressure , compression , timing marks, injector pulse

    for sure it's one of these

    Sir, Baka meron kau alam na auto shop na Specialist sa ford cars. particular lynx ghia 2000.

    looks like a timing issue. but it seem too late if this is an interference engine (am not sure though).

    I already said the Lynx engine is non-interference.

    Don't know any specialists in Alabang. You might try asking at http://forum.fordclubph.com , there are lots of Alabang and Laguna owners on board. (I'm from Laguna, but I have my car fixed at QC).
