mga masters, yung '06 nissan xtrail namin nanginginig kapag pagshift sa D (matic). sabi nila, clean throttle body lang daw with carb cleaner. we sprayed carb cleaner on it while the engine is off.. pagstart, sobrang taas idling. 1500 rpm.. tumawag kami sa casa sabe dapat daw i reset sa computer dahil talagang "wild" daw ang rpm pag hindi. computer reset is 2.5k daw. help po..

tinry na din nung tito ko yan, (mechanic ng chevy sa middle east,he's on vacation) sinabi niya bago namin inisprayan ng carb cleaner na sa ibang mga chevy doon, suburban, tahoe, trailblazer, kelangan talagang iset ulit sa computer para mag normal idling. yung iba or older than the 07 models hindi daw. kaya tinry namin sa xtrail since it's engine is old na. ayun nanga nangyari. wala ba iba solution? nagoogle ko kasi na talagang high rev pag bagong spray ng carb cleaner. TY!

grabe naman bro yan Casa na yan. ECU diagnostic/reset ng European Cars ang Presyo. My car is a honda Php350+ lang yun ecu diagnose and reset. Now with the powers of google I've learnt that the ECU reset is very easy lang pala...tama si joyluck614..that's just basically like pulling the plug of your PC..by doing that all the alarms will be purged and reset You just have to relearn the idling of the car. This is best done kpag ang engine is warm, let the ECU relearn the idle of the car for at least 15mins. na wlang engine load i.e. headlights, stero,A/C. warning nga pala..kapag pull of batt. terminals mareset din lahat mga stereo settings and odometer readings mo. meron Fuse ng ECU try to find it normally rated 15amps para simple and no batt. disconnection.

One thing nga pala...hindi mo yata sinunod ang instruction sa can ng Carb Cleaner..spray in an intermittent burst while the engine is running and warmed up..tapos rev. up. Hope this helps.

DESCRIPTION

Idle Air Volume Learning is an operation to learn the idle air volume that keeps each engine within the
specific range. It must be performed under any of the following conditions:

_

It is impossible to switch the diagnostic mode when an accelerator pedal position sensor
circuit has a malfunction.

3. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
4. Check that all items listed under the topic PREPARATION (previously mentioned) are in good order.
5. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
6. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch ON and wait 3 seconds.
7. Repeat the following procedure quickly five times within 5 seconds.
a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal.
b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
8. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 20 seconds until the MI
stops blinking and turned ON.
9. Fully release the accelerator pedal once MIL is ON and within 3 seconds start the car.
10. Let engine idle.
11. Wait 20 seconds.
12. Rev up the engine two or three times and make sure that idle speed and ignition timing are within
the specifications (see below).
13. If idle speed and ignition timing are not within the specification, Idle Air Volume Learning will not be
carried out successfully. In this case, please take the car to your nearest dealer to perform the required
diagnostics and idle relearn using Consult II

ayush....nakalibre na ung special daw reset ng casa...sabi ko sau sa powers ng google hehehehe..about naman sa MAF sensor...totoo nga na sensitive yan kaya dapat pili ka lang ng Carb cleaner na friendly sa mga MAF sensor..don't just spray any ordinary Carb Cleaner. tska follow mo lang ang procedure, it's right there prinited on the cans.

help..carb cleaner on nissan xtrail
