Para sakin kung hindi naman racing keep it stock nalng po ayaw ko magaya ka po sakin nag palit tpos binalik ko ulit sa stock tpos dun sa shop na pinag balikan ko nung stock may nag spark sa engine bay ko ayun sunog ang electricals ko, ang power window, aircon, blower baterry check light.. buti nalang under warranty at nakalusot ako sa casa, inayos nila ulit at buti nalng fuses lang ang nasira hindi pumasok sa mismong parts.. ecu, alternator etc... ngayon prob ko san ko bebenta ung parts ko na un.. sayang ang pera ko, ngayon may bagong rims na ako 17's susunod ko sound set up naman... un lang always clean ur car and keep it shiny... nag sisis tlga ako kung maibabalik ko lang...

Actually hindi pa ako sure na magpaheaders talaga kasi sa pros and cons... I'm not into racing din po... Un nga lang I just want more power sa car...

The A/T tends to be sluggish and I know that first hand since I also drive a car with A/T tranny. To gain any decent amount of performance, you should be looking at additional 20hp or more. To get that, you would be looking at turbo upgrades or engine swaps already. N/A mods would just waste your money.
Sir what if ung positioning ng CAT ai the same nung nasa pic sa previous post above, will it render the headers useless even more?
Also you have to make sure the CAT is of a low restriction type. Most modern CATs are of this type to help reduce the backpressure. Old type cats tend to lower engine performance because of restrictions to the flow of exhaust gasses.

You can start with air filter mods and maybe a low restiction muffler (similar to your stock muffler but pass-thru design internally).
Advance your ignition timing and use higher octane gasoline to avoid detonation.
You can gain some performance that way BUT your fuel economy will suffer.

hehehe opo.. grabe nag aalarm pati kotse ng kapit bahay namin sobrang tahimik pa naman pag ka gabi na kakahiya..
and ayun nga lakas ng vibration sa una lang okay.. sa headers kasi namoblema ako sa catalytic kaya better balik nalang sa dati.. ngayon im looking for a buyer kahit sa scav ko nalang... hahahaha..

sir good day! ask ko lng po kung ok na palita ko ng 2" ung midpipe ko? nag headers kasi ko ng 4-2-1 tapos nka chambered jasma muffler ko. pero ung pipe ko stock p din n 1.75. balak ko po palitan ng 2" galing headers hanggang muffler. stainless nga pala headres ko ok po b n stain less din ang pipe or kahit hindi na. honda vtec 96 1.6 po pala car ko. tnx
