    good day!

guys, i got to experience this situation again last saturday. same thing, nabilad sa sobrang araw then nagstart tapos namatay, ayaw na magstart ulit. it was 1:00pm nung mga time na yun. tumawag me mech, he just said battery daw. i called another mech who arrived around 4:00pm. when he was about to check my engine, nag-start siya one-click lang! as in wala pang ginagalaw yung mech na dumating! nagtaka din yung mekaniko, wala kasi siya makita reason kung bakit ganun yung behavior.

then yesterday ibinyahe ko ulit yung car. i have no choice but to park it sa open parking ng mall, but this time nilagyan ko ng sunshield yung dash (the one na may silver coated lining). ewan ko kung may effect talaga, pero when i got back the interior was not hot as usual, then i started the engine. guess what? one-click lang! at hindi namatay!

could it be na may sensor ako sa dash na apektado ng sobrang init kaya namamatay yung makina ko?

This tip is really helpful garfield_08. Keep us posted if effective ang paglalagay ng sunshield everytime you parked directly sa araw. If it consistently starting in just 1 try kahit nakabilad pa sa araw, probably, the dash also got something to do with the problem pag nabibilad directly sa araw ang car at hinde sya dapat mainitan ng husto, am I right?

Since were also facing the same problem, if this "technique" is very accurate I might as well have to buy a sunshield and use it everytime Ill park in an open parking space.

*ms.pam: this is only an observation. whether it is a valid hypothesis or purely coincidence, i have'nt proven it yet. sabi kasi nung mekaniko ko baka daw naiinitan ng sobra yung sensor ng alarm ko (integrated kasi sa locks). he suggested having the alarm set-up trouble-shooted para makita kung may conflict (improper installation, overheated relays etc.) that would be posting problems sa electricals ko. as of now naging positive kasi yung effect nung sunshield. i'll try to test it several times and see if it works .

other than that, i'll also check for other factors na pwedeng mag-cause ng problema.

same experience here peeps... twice na. mine is Civic '97.. pagnabilad lang talaga... i was thingking then baka dahil sa E-10 gasoline ngayon. pero when i read this thread.. sa diesel din pala. baka nga there's something to do w/ hot dashboard... electronics. anyway, observe ko na rin.. kasi this time nilagyan ko na ng sunshield, dati kasi car cover lang (* village's open parking).
