fuel pump..

I need to replace my fuel pump of my starex grx crdi 2005 model..kasi pina check ko xa shop sabi sira n daw u fuel pump ko kasi pa hinto hinto u starex ko..

meron ba kau idea kung magkano yun or my surplus nun?iba po kasi diba u fuel pump nya meron xa mga sensor which is parang hirap nya bilin..

Don't think it would have any complicated sensor..... Apply voltage muna sa pump ng saglit. If it runs then okay pa. or before applying voltage have it check for ohmic resistance kung shorted or open. Shorted means "Zero" ohms.

If ever you buy a fuel pump. Get a new one. Masakit sa ulo tumirik sa surplus. Pero bago bumili ng fuel pump. Make it 100% sure it's really the fuel pump. I had a problem before where I thought it was the fuel pump kase ayaw umandar ng fuel pump. Upon further diagnosis I figured it was the fuel pump relay ng car na hindi bumibigay ng voltahe sa fuel pump.

Hi jennyfer0021, for your starex, you can check out Cooparts Trading #37B Agno St, Quezon City. Agno St. is along Banawe. This is parallel to Quezon Ave. Look for Mang Cooper. He has a wide array of surplus, recondition parts for mostly korean cars and vans. Hope this help. Good Luck

Before buying a fuel pump, make sure that the your Starex was properly diagnosed. The workshop should have used a good scan tool to pinpoint your problem. A 2nd hand or rebuilt fuel pump is not cheap.

Kung makakabili ka ng bago na fuel pump bago na lang bilin mo iwas sakit ng ulo .Mahirap pa rin naman itulak iyang starex mabigat pag huminto ka sa gitna ng kalsada.
