flywheel lightening will simply reduce the energy required to accelerate the rotating engine mass. This will only marginally help in a drag race but it would also make it impossible to drive smoothly and economically in daily city driving where stop and go is the routine.
If you want to make more power you could start by telling us what you already have on your ESI.
And then also tell us what is your budget (if any) in mind for your upgrades.
