I recently changed my Fuel Filter. Napansin ko na halos puno na yung nasa loob. May nagsabi sa akin nde nde normal yun. Is that true? If yes, what could be the problem?

bka clogged yung isang end mo ng fuel filter. but talagang may matatapon na fuel pagnagpalit ka ng fuel filter.
So nde pala normal yun. Could that be one reason kaya minsan mataas ang idling ko. Like one day, nasa 1,500 RPM tapos minsan nasa 900-1000RPM lang. What do you think?
walang effect ata sa idle ang fuel filter mo.. kung luma na yung filter mo masmagandang palitan mo na.. kasi ang fuel lines all the way sa fuel injector kung meron yung oto mo e puno ng fuel yan. so pagnagpalit ka ng fuel filter may laman talagang fuel yan kahit anong linis pa nyan o dumi. kung hesistant yung engine mo umarangkada when you step on the gas e isa sa reason ang clogged fuel filter which is madumi na at the same time baka madumi na rin yung injectors mo. kaya mas ok kung kada oil change mo sabayan mo ng lagay ng fuel cleaner yung gas tank mo para malinis yung fuel lines mo
Bago lang kasi Fuel Filter ko. One month pa lang. BTw, naka CARBURETOR ako. Does it make any difference
AFIK, dehins normal yan. Dapat ang highest level 'ata nya is nasa 1/2 the capacity or even less.
baka mataas A/F settings mo. ganyan din kotse ko before namin in-adjust. ngayon half na lang laman fuel filter. mataas fuel sa mix.
A/F Setting? Is it Air/Fuel Setting? Paano ba kino correct yun?Originally Posted by maverick34
diba dapat may small bubble ang filter otherwise magcloclog? not sure, sa diesel ko kasi dati mga 2/3 full lang sya lagi
Kapag madumi na ang fuel filter ng Carb type engine, Could this also be a reason for hard starting specially in the morning?
try to search na lang. na-discuss na yan before. kayang-kaya mo i-diy.Originally Posted by goldencoil

Pansin ko din kasi na puno fuel filter ko..wala pang 2 months yun...
Hindi po siya normal?
corolla 1.3 carb po pala car..
TIA..
what will go wrong if the fuel filter is full? The amount of fuel insside the fuel filter can be full or just half of its capacity. So long as you have correctly installed the fuel filter with the nipple flow arrow pointing toward the direction of the carburetor, then that will be fine. the location of the fuel pump will play a role on the amount of fuel in the filter. If you have an electric fuel pump located before the filter, the filter will be full. If the fuel pump is suction type after the filter, the filter may or may not be full of fuel. If the filter is full and nothing comes out of it, then that filter is clogged.
