ganyan din kaya local unit ng GS?
As far as I know walang DPF local na mga Grand Starex. Euro IV pa engine nila while Grey Market units got Euro V engines.
I'm using CI-4 pa rin. Correct me if I'm wrong na pag CJ-4 dapat Low sulfure diesel gamit. Malayo mga Unioil dito sa amin kaya sa Shell alo nagpapagas at one time nagloko GS ko nung nag Unioil ako. Namatayan ako ng engine, nagbara fuel filter

uu... pag Cj-4 dapat low sulfur, kasi they become acidic agad pag high sulfur...

dapat mag baldwin ka na filter, if meh available for your engine.

It's useless to delete EGR without deleting DPF Only do this as temporary/emergency fix for a leaking EGR Cooler
The key for DPF long life is avoid prolong idling as this can result in face plugging of the DPF cause by low ex temp
There is 3 types of regen passive, park & force Passive is when it calls for regen while at highway speed no need for driver interaction. Park is when it calls for regen while idling only does it when exhaust flow before & after DPF filter reach the tress hold this monitor by delta P sensor. Force regen can only be done by overriding the vehicles ECU usually by Dealer or hack software only force regen also has couple level of password final level would be manufacturers
It will not harm if you do park regen from time to time think of the DPF as self cleaning oven just have to wast more fuel
DPF can also be service/clean manually by a special machine
I personally will avoid a vehicle with EGR,DPF & DEF if I like the vehicle and it's a good deal the first sign of trouble on emission system those bs are gone. Even without this emission stuff Diesel engine are much cleaner engine than its gasoline counter part when properly running with its fuel ratio as high as 50to1

I read somewhere in oil thread that vehicles with DPF need oils that are Acea C2/C3 rated. I think those are usually found in CJ-4 oils. DPF equipped cars normally have dash warning lights. If in doubt, you can always have the car raised on a lift to check.

    Salamat.

Yes soot is actually the one that's causing your engine to turn black I've seen soot cause a low oil pressure on a Diesel engines
CJ4 can be used on old engine but not the other way around. When we took delivery of our 2011 fleet we switch our oil to CJ4 less inventory and avoid accidental use of regular oil to our new engine

I'm using RP Duralec CJ-4 + unioil euro 4 to my 14 MS glx non vgt. Ok naman so far kahit minsan euro 2 fuels wala naman pinagkaiba ang takbo. Odo is running 8k kms. Palit nalang ng oil at 10k kms

My '12 GLX non-VGT is also runnng Baldwin BD28+RP Duralec Super CJ-4+ Unioil euro 4 but on extended oil change interval of 15,000kms or 1 year. Until 20,000kms pwede yun Duralec since for commercial grade.
