Engine wash on EFI engine

hi all tsikoters..

I have a corolla efi engine. ang dumi na ng makina and ask ko lang

is it ok pa engine wash ko? and saan yung mahusay at marunong.

kasi naisip ko baka mabasa yung mga sensor etc.. might be harmful to the engine..

yung isang ride ko d efi kaya kahit sa gas station pinapalinis ko.

i'm thinking of bringing it sa Dallas..

anybody have experience? na nasira efi engine sa engine wash?

Don't bring your car to Dallas...may nakasabay ako dati dun na nagpa-engine wash ng kotse...hindi nila mapa-start kasi may mga parts na nabasa. Try nila i-airdry ng pressure hose pero hirap pa din mag start.

Bring your car to Big Bert's, mahusay sila mag engine detail at hindi nila basta basta babasain ang engine compartment. Mas mahal ng konti pero sulit. Located sila along Araneta Av. Here's their website: http://www.bigberts.com/

sir, sa speedlab nagw-waterless engine detailing sila dun. mas ok pumunta maaga para mapalamig yung engine bay. sensitive yung oto namin sa engine wash kasi toyota corona ang koche. 750 ang charge nila sa mga corolla,civic,lancer. speedlab sa q.ave front ng pegasus. goodluck sir.

SPEEDLAB has waterless engine detailing service. It takes a bit more time but they do not spray water into your engine which avoids all the water related problems.

Mga sirs, ano po ang pagkaka iba ng engine wash sa engine detailing, kasi one shop na pinuntahan ko ay they are charging 500 pesos sa wash while sa engine detailing ay 1200 pesos. thanks po.

DIY. buy water washable degreaser in concorde. brush it on, reaching heavily greased spots and wash it off with low pressure water, no direct jet of water. just wrap the alternator and fuse box with plastic. wipe dry with cloth and use air blower (no heat) to dry off sensors and allow 2 hours top dry naturally and thats it. try using metal polish to tidy up and shine some metal parts and finish off plastics with tire black.
