saan maganda magkarga ng higher RON fuel?

basta 93+ RON ok na, like shell premium, (unleaded nila matabang!), caltex gold techron 95+, velocity 95+, blaze 96+,.. now i'm just using caltex silver, ok naman, for long driving, pede na siguro kahit 'gold' or premium ng shell!

tune up, adjust tappets, get a higher octane fuel and shift at the appropriate speed.

try this one sir, Have a major tune up. Adjust tappets then that tok sounds will go away....

isa pang advice, nangyari sa akin yan l300 gas engine, kapag 3rd gear, makakarinig ka ng ping sound, takatak.. pag 1st and 2nd gear wala ka maririnig, napansin ko, it happens kapag gumigitna na ang temperature, so pinacheck ko, overheating. yun ang ang pinasolve ko, nung almost 1/4 na ang temperature, nawala ang ping sound, (tak-tak-tak) so itoy naexperience ko lang na nasolve, pwede rin iba ang nag cacause nito.

hotter engine temp will result in an engine more prone to detonation. kaya run it as cool as possible.

AFAIK, negligible diperensya niyan. Parehas naman compression eh. Update naman sa what happened. Minsan kainis yung may problem report tapos dami suggestions then wala ng balita.

Mazda 323 sedan 93; Paghirap yon makina tumutunog ng "takatak-katak" parang ganun, lala pagpinilit ko apakn yon gas pedal. Pagtumakbo sa highway minsan myron parin tunog. Patulong naman pano ang gagawin dito. tnx.

na mention mo na kahit sa hway meron ka naririnig, you have to fix that. pinging sound indicates that the fuel is being burned way before the piston reaches its top cycle. it will lead to overheating of the cylinder head and cause other kinds of problems you dont want to have.

kung nasa timing naman ang makina mo, you can check on the carb if its carb type, and have it tuned up (look at the spark plug, air filter, fuel filter and as they suggested contact point kung meron ang dizzy mo) also have the valve clearance inspected kung within specs pa.

using higher octane fuel may help as stop gap measure.
