Nagkalat na parang kabute ang mga emission testing centers. Pumili ka ng center na bagong bukas para accurate ang measurements. Yung mga naunang shops hindi well maintained and calibrated ang emission testers.
Pag sumabit ka sa unang testing, subukan mo sa ibang center para makakuha ng second ratings kung tama.

btw, kanina, nag paregister ako, hindi man lang hinanap ung emergency marker a, ung triangle thingy.
guys, m new here. papasa kya sa emissions testing yung kotse mo pag modified na ang I/H/E plus tanggal na ang catalytic converter? Year 2000 model ng kotse. tnx
most likely tumaas lang ang emissions rating mo pero not up to the point na bumagsak ka.
siguraduhin mo lang na naka tune-up ang oto mo bago ka magpa-testing
tnx for the info... actually d ko pa nagagawa yung exaust part ng I/H/E. balak ko lang kce i disregard na yung catalytic pag ginawa ko na sya. just had to make sure my car can still be streetable.
mga 5 to 15 mins siguro. me ilalagay lang sa exhaust mo tapos hayaang mag-idle yung kotse mo w/ AC, radio, plus other electronics turned OFF. Antay mo lang yung reading from the machine tapos tapos na! 300 PhP down the drain! hehe

different model years have different emmission test passing marks. mas mahigpit ang passing mark for newer models than older cars. be prepared to put back the cat since post-1998 models requirements have low NOx readings. the cat is for reducing NOx.
iba din syempre for diesels and gasoline engines.
suggestion lang, ask your dealer if they have a suggested emmission testing center. usually they will have at their main service centers. if ever bumagsak sa emmission test ang car mo then they will know what best to do to make it pass. also, it's best to stick to one emmission testing center year after year. pag suki ka na nila then they are less likely to suggest exhorbitant repairs to make your car pass the test.

Totoo ba na para pumasa ang isang mausok na sasakyan lalo diesel ay ala-lay lang ang pag-press nila sa pedal para hindi lumabas ang maitim at sobrang usok para hindi ito bumagsak sa emission testing?????
as ive noticed nung nirehistro ko yung carnival namin last march..i re rev muna ng paulit paulit tapos tsaka pa lang uumpisahan ang test. t'as kung diesel tatanungin pa kong turbo o hindi..di ko lam kung anung basihan nila pero mas mababa ang emission requirements ng turbocharged engine
dito sa marikina pag bagsak ka 200 ang katapat! pasado na uli! kaya 300 yung emision 200 ang lagay sa 500 lahat ayos na din! ang tatanung mo lang magkano pa calibrate alam na nila yon! pero syempre dapat ipaayos mo din kasi kawawa naman ang ozone layer natin! yung emision testing na mura calibrate dito sa my a. tuason acros ng imelda ave.
Isang tip, bago kayo pumasok sa emission testing center siguraduhin nyo lang na mainit at nasa normal driving temperature ang makina nyo. Para tama ang librication process ang langis at hindi pwersado pag binomba na nila sa tests.
Pag sa palagay mo ay babagsak sa emission testing yung kotse mo, sabihin mo na lang na AWD--exempted agad kotse mo, pwera lang kung me double rollers yung facility.

Hindi totoo yan.
I would suggest you run your car first with 5 to 10% biodiesel on a full tank then add 1% for the next then do a emission test sure ako papasa yan kahit malakas tapak nila.

Just to let you guys know we have many diesel engines under us and we have to pay MILK MONEY just for registration every year for NON-Apperance but since we started using Bio-diesel as additive this April all our MAY diesel registrations passed in flying colors.
No more MILK MONEY just to registered our diesels and above all no more black smoke for the environment. :D
Savings on the MILK MONEY for annual registration will be re-aligned for Bio-Diesels.
