June 8th, 2010 04:46 PM #13Pede din na di nahigpitan mabuti ung tensioner kaya tumagal ng 1 week. Or mayroon naiwan na bagay sa timing cover na pumutol sa belt.

sorry kung medyo natagalan ang reply.
I guess incomplete nga ung info and i did some research as well and it seems a lot of the post are somewhat correct.
First bakit pinalitan ung timing belt.
The mechanic suggested to change oil seals for the top and bottom part of the engine (sorry i dont know the name of that part of engine)
So while changing napansin niya na basa ng oil ung timing belt. so he suggested na palitan in which i agreed. And besides due for replacement na din ung belt.
We also did change oil and everything is ok for a week when the problem occured.
Hindi po naputol ung belt. as per new mechanic "haros" or something like that ung term nila. Tumalon daw ung belt.
Actually tumatakbo na siya ngayon, the new mechanic did a top overhaul, palit cylinder gasket, timing belt, machine shop (refacing ng camshaft ata un?) all in all inabot ng 8K.
So right now test drive ulit hope di na siya bumigay or else benta ko na to huhuhu..
