engine stalling beyond 2000 RPM

hi. our legendary trooper 4jx1 strikes again.

this time when i exceed 2000 rpm the engine suddenly stalls (i mean leterally shuts it self off) and it would start after a 2 or 3 clicks on the ignition.

what might be the problem again?

ive just replaced the rpcv and a sensor last year.

and also it emits black smoke beyond 2000 rpms, a clud of black smoke.

Sounds like a fuel system problem, and a nasty one... but if it's black smoke, it could be worse... turbo?

thanks v6, nakaka badtrip na nga eh. isuzu uses tech2 scanning tool for this crap engine.

niky theres no mechanical problem right?

if it is turbo? why would engine stall and turns itself off?

based on my undetstanding, if the turbo is damaged it would'nt let the engine go faster and rev up to high RPMs.

blacksmoke means you have problem with your fuel system. have you checked or replaced the fuel filter? If it is equipped with igniter, check also their conditions. otherwise it may need calibration.

i doubt it's the turbine. look into the fuel supply.
