Hi,
question, i have a honda City Exi 97 (1.3 engine) and I would like to upgrade my performance a bit. would my performance change a bit when I:
1. Change my intake to a Standard Simota Air intake (aluminum tube, no available cold air intakes for 1.3 city)
2. change my High Tension wire to a 9mm 5 core High Tension Wire
3. get a Free flowing Muffler Tip (no budget for Muffler, hehe )
and also, are there issues on aluminum intakes, that when it is too hot, hot air will go to the engine and on physics, hot air does not combust good?
Need help on this guys, please? thanks

My answer in bold letters
IMO you're better off saving up more, gutting out your old engine and putting in a surplus D15B engine.
IMO, unless you turbo that thing, which is more expensive than getting a D15B, no matter what you put in there it will not give you sufficient power.

Totally sayang pera.
Simota filter - minimal effect. U wont notice anything.
spark plug cables - minimal effect. U wont notice anything.
muffler tip? u serious? for what? para masabi may "mod" ka sa exhaust?

I think that by now, you have a fairly good idea on what to do with your ride....

For 1.3L engines, just keep it stock. If you want more power, you have three options:
-nitrous oxide
-turbocharger upgrade
-engine swap
There are no "cheap" alternatives around it.
