What are they?

The engine is that of the GLXi Lancer (4G92 SOHC)

First pic:
Engine Valve Cover Breather with hose connected.

Second pic:
Either EGR or Fuel Map Sensor. Try to pull out one of the hoses, if the engine dies out, this is definitely the EGR.

first pic,its a PCV, Positive crankcase ventilation....

2nd pic is EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve

EGR yung pangalawa. Yung MAF is usually inline with the intake hose. And on Mitsubishis, it is a big square black box.

nalilito kasi ako between EGR and PCV.

As for the MAF, yup, tama ka.
