I confirm this estimate. Using replacement parts, the amount approximates the cost of the total overhaul. Using original parts, however, could increase your cost to about 45K. By the way, the engine being overhauled is the Mitsubishi 4d56.

Haay naku Bigdaddy.

I was in your situation years ago when my 4D56 was being overhauled, found out that I could get an intercooled 4D56 engine for 50,000 php. Pero too late, I have already bought the parts and my block is at the machine shop. I would have opted for that intercooled engine as the non turboed 4D56 is underpowered for a gen1 pajero.

    Bigdaddy,

Tapusin mo na lang yan yung overhaul. Sundin niyo lang yung specs at recommendations ng manual as regards to tolerances then everything will be ok. With a good break in and your engine will run good as new

OT lang po; but related to overhauling.

But that will depend on the parts you'll be using.

An upgrade will be better... more power.
