gasoline engines
(1300-2500 cc)
oil pan capacity(OPC): 3.5 - 4.5 liters
Amount of Power Flusing Oil(PFO): 2.0-3.0 liters
PUJ's
OPC: 6.0 - 7.0 liters
PFO: 3.0 - 4.0 liters
SUV's (diesel)
OPC: 6.0-7.0 liters
PFO: 3.0 - 4.0 liters
AUV's
OPC: 4.0 - 4.5 liters
PFO: 2.0 - 3.0 liters
OR
half the oil pan capacity
PROCEDURE:
1. Stop the engine.
2. Remove the drain plug. Drain the used oil. Don't remove the oil filter yet.
3. Replace the drain plug.
4. Pour the recommended amount of Caltex Power Flushing Oil.
5. Start the engine. Run idle for 5-10 minutes.
6. Stop the engine. Remove the drain plug and the oil filter.
7. Replace the drain plug. Put the new oil filter and pour the new engine oil.

April 13th, 2003 05:07 PM #14hmm..di ako agree sa oil flushing products.. siguro pa drip mo nlang tlga ung oil hangang maubos tlga.. pra safe ka kse may mga ibang ingredients ang mga products na ganyan na pwde maka affect sa internals ng auto mo... for me lang yun ha,.

buddyclub, safe na pang flush ang mga oil na pang flush...ang hindi safe ay yung pang-flush na may halong kerosene (small cans with strong kerosene like odor)...pls do a research...it's for your own good :wink:
