~thx po sa reply...ok i'll check the air filter and replace if so...also the turbo is good...unless the injection i dont know how to check if its ok or not. Sir diesel dude my chance ba na sa nozzle din ang problem pag malakas na sa diesel? Wala pa naman po ako
napagawa sa engine and no black or any smoke po pala.:-)

Your car seems to be running fine. I suggest that you validate your fuel consumption again. Your 4km/L figure may be inaccurate.

In your case, I don't believe the nozzles are causing your high FC.

sir dieseldude what could be the problem of my pickup..
yung usok niya is white yung kulay ayaw na mawala kahit hugasan ko yung
muffler w/ water..

nakakahiya kasi lalo na pag umaandar makikita talaga na nag ppuff yung smoke +
pag naka idle din..

Ano ang make, model, and mileage ng car mo?

yung usok niya is white yung kulay ayaw na mawala kahit hugasan ko yung
muffler w/ water..
1) White smoke when engine is hot or cold?
2) Kelan nagsimula ang problem?
3) Ok ba ang power?
4) Kamusta ang oil consumption?

nakakahiya kasi lalo na pag umaandar makikita talaga na nag ppuff yung smoke +
pag naka idle din..

isuzu model 1994
matagal na siya pero dati medyo black pa siya pero nung nilinis ko yung muffler
medyo white na siya tapos persistent na yung white smoke...

kahit hot and cold yung engine ganun pa rin yung smoke.. ok naman yung oil consumption walang leaks..
yung power naman ok rin

Baka injection pump ang problem.

dieseldude,

i have a problem with my local pajero with 4m40 engine. my car used to run just fine. but this morning, nag hard starting siya. 2 clicks bago mag start. then nung tinakbo ko na, parang nag misfire siya. nung naging normal operating temp na, bumalik na sa normal running condition.

what could be the problem?

walang ginawa for the past few days. except for loading up with Petron diesel last night. diesel being used before is seaoil diesel.

This could be a sign of an injection pump going bad which is quite common to 4M40 engines, or a faulty glow plug system, or even both. We see a lot of these....
