    galing ako sa casa nagpachange oil.....nung inangat sa lifter yung car eh basa daw yung crankshaft ko.....

    as soon as possible ko ba kailangan ipagawa ito or pwede hidni muna kung hindi naman tumutulo?

    mababasa ba yung timing belt pag may tagas yung crankshaft?

    sa tingin ko hindi naman ganun kalala yon lalo na wala pang tulo, pero dapat ay iplano mo na din ipagawa, kasi minsan simple lang at sealant lang ang katapat nyan sa bandan valve cover...or find out the source kung anu ang may dahilan...at saan ang leak.

    I would fix it if I were you. It wont cost that much to do it now than later, think of what damage could it be done in your engine if not giving attention right away.

    Less now or expensive later----Which one are you?

    Have it assessed as soon as possible... kasi crankshaft replacement is expensive... more than 10k... not to mention the labor... general overhaul yan...

    although nung nagkaproblema ako sa crankshaft a week ago they were telling me na baka makuha sa dukot... pero I doubt it... kasi mahabang part yun kaya kelangan talaga buksan...

    if that is just a seep, then its just normal but if its formed into drip then it needs to be fixed.

    make sure where it is coming from... possible sa crank case lang yan and worst galing sa OIL SEALS... check kung malakas ang tagas especially kung may tumutulo na sa floor when you park the car..kung slight seepage lang ok lang yan..hindi nyan mababasa yung timing belt mo... the best way is isabay mo yan sa timing belt change...

    my kia carnival also had that oil seepage sa crankshaft then isinabay ko nalang sa palit ng timing belt yung mga oil seals...kahit may tagas na yung oil seals ko hindi naman nabasa ng oil yung timing belt

    yung crankcase eh oil pan din ba tawag doon? Kasi sa oil pan ko may tagas talaga pero konti lang.....

    KAsi nung inangat sa lifter eh parang basa yung area malapit sa timing belt.... pero walang tulo....

    Oil pan is under the engine belly na may maraming bolts and if Im not mistaken bolt size are 8 mm.

    so iba ang oil pan sa crankcase or the same?

    kasi sabi sa akin bili daw ako oil pan gasket/crankcase gasket

    it might also be the oil pump o-ring. if you're pulling down the oilpan and replacing the crank seal then it's the perfect time to replace it as well.
