cold start problem

Sirs;
Newbie lang po ako dito sa community nyo, i just want to seek your help regarding my problem on my 03 adventure 2.0 gas engine.
1- In the morning po (or when the engine is cold), kailangan ko pa po apakan ung gas pedal, otherwise the engine dies. But if it reaches a certain temp, very normal and stable na po yung idling nya.
2- Pag bigla po apak ng gas pedal parang may konti po syang delay bago mag respond, and pag bila naman po release para naman po syang kinakapos (di naman po namamatay) then magre recover agad to normal idling.
Is this a major problem po kaya? Hope to receive response from you guys, i'm scheduled to bring my car to a mechanic tomorrow, and just want to have any idea para po ma compare ko sa magiging findings ng mechanic na titingin.
