cleaning fuel injectors

Hi guys anyone ever had their fuel injectors cleaned?

my car might be due for a cleaning because of hard starting might be due to carbon buildup.

any recommended shops?

i tried doing the search option there is no thread on cleaning fuel injectors, if there is one kindly direct me to it and delete this na lang po thanks in advance

the Nozzle? yes, I had them cleaned on a few vehicles. and a pump once... all diesels though...

Hindi kaya better and cheaper alternative yung bumili ng STP fuel injector cleaner (or similar products)? Less than P130 per bottle. Pour-and-forget.

Sir, pasingit na rin, tanong ko rin kung talaga po ba effective mga fuel injectors cleaner na available sa mga markets natin ngayon?? Yung add and fill lang sa fuel tank.

puro diesel ang sasakyan ko pero takot ako magpalinis ng nozzle dahil gastos nanaman dala na ako magpagawa dahil pag sinabi ng mekanik na hindi ma malilinis ang nozzle tiyak palit na yun mahal kaya ng nozzle tip

hindi ko pa nasusubukan ang fuel injectors cleaner kung very effective siguro in someway hesitant din ako gumamit dahil hindi pa ako bilib anyway i just bring my ride sa diesel central in QC para linisin ang injectors at macheck na din kung fine pa ang paginject, mura lang naman ang labor ng palinis sure ka pa na magwowork.

Serviceable injectors/nozzles can be cleaned and calibrated. Failed / damaged nozzles should be replaced.

I haven't tried using any injector cleaners. So I can't say if they're good or bad. Some probably work, but in varying degrees of effectivity.

I hope some fellow tsikoters can share their experience with us, good or bad.

the ones you mix with the fuel are ok for preventive maintenance but once may problem na yung injector, there is no replacement for pulling them out and cleaning them one by one with the proper machine.

is it really effective; those bottle that say's to clean or lubricate your fuel injectors (i think the brand is STP if im not mistaken)... the directions are easy though, simply pour it on your fuel tank...

for those who put these kind of additives on their car... please share...
