Hello fellow tsikoters..
just a quick question regarding the scenario na nangyari sa akin this monday..
i was in Autoline to install a new tint, shempre..in order for the installer to install the tint sa mga side doors ko, hee needs to turn the ignition to on for almost 2 hours ata yun..kasi ganun katagal mag lagay ng tint, after that..yung pag alis kona..start ko yung engine...1 click start na siya..pero nangyari is parang humina yung rev niya..despite cold start yun..kala ko normal lang..pag atras ko then brake..umilaw yung check engine ko then my rpm drops from 1000 to 500 then after that shempre..rev ako ng rev pero naka ilaw padin yung check engine ko..
after ko pinatakbo ng mga 5 minutes (komakatjot yung takbo na parang sakal..) then pag brake ko, sabay rev ko ng tudo, then suddenly nawala ng yung ilaw sa check engine ko...
since then till now hinde na umulit..
ano kaya cause nun?
sabi ng mechanic ko is to just reset it by removing the negative pole from the battery and put it back in..
doubt ko yung pag on ng ignition ng matagal...may ganun factor ba mga gurus..
please help..
thanks for viewing..your response will be greatly appreciated, engine ko pala is silvertop 2.0v

San ka kaya nagkulang sa karinyo dyan sa kotse mo

Try mo muna reset baka umayos yan.
OT: earthlyken, bakit kailangan i-turn "on" yung ignition habang kinakabit yung tint?

Very good. Now, you that most newer car that if you use your batt.(engine off) for so long and draining almost to the limit of the cranking capacity of your car the check engine ligths will come on. If your battery still good and your charging system that check engine will reset itself as soon as the battery brought back to level.

April 29th, 2008 08:15 AM #9sometimes it does, when the bcm detects that the voltage below threshold,it may not communicate with the ecm and now the ecm act erratically until the bcm mets the cycle (voltage cylce, ignition cycle,etc.).and the reason why the check engine light went out, thats because they met the cylce but the dtc still there and it is set as history in ecm.only scanner can clear them or by removing negative battery terminal 15 seconds or more.
entertainment or air or both, thats probably the reason why the installer needs to turn the ignition on.
