I removed my catalytic converter 3 years ago. my car has passed emission testing every time.
i haven't seen catalytic convereters for new below 1M peso cars, so it's a good assumption that the emissions standards are not stiff

Is this for the Optra? If it is, just remove it. Run on lpg for emmissions test and you'll pass with flying colors. Like they said, your car will function without one.
Bambino,
Standards are low. How do you think all those smoke belching busses and jeepneys pass? Oh ibang paraan pala yun.

^^^ Pag mainit na ang catalytic converter, it converts harmfull gasses to inert or safe gasses. Hence better emissions.
